A woman believed to be responsible for at least six brazen robberies of jewelry stores in the southeast has been arrested in Georgia, according to the FBI.

“Within hours of issuing a press release this week requesting assistance in identifying the suspects, the FBI … began to receive numerous credible leads from the public,” the federal agency said in a statement.

Citing an ongoing investigation, the FBI would not release details of the arrests or the name of the other suspect. Kemp is expected to appear Monday in Atlanta federal court.

Connie Kemp, the woman’s mother, hung up on INSIDE EDITION Sunday. “No comment and do not call this number again,” she said before putting down the phone.

The young woman is suspected of robbing jewelers in five states since April 29 in hauls that have netted more than an estimated $4 million, authorities said.

Surveillance cameras captured what appears to be the same woman, striding confidently into jewelry stores before pulling a gun and sometimes zip-tying employees as she empties glass cases.

The thief sometimes dressed in jogging clothes. She made no apparent attempt to hide her face and wore gloves as she dumped piles of watches and jewelry into a bag.

Her last heist was last Monday, when she knocked over a Jared Vault store in Mebane, North Carolina, authorities said.

A former school mate of Kemp’s told NBC he grew up with her in Georgia.

“She’s a real chill. She’s hilarious. She’s the life of the party,” said a man who would only identify himself as Cameron. “I’m not saying she’s a party girl, but she’s always cracking jokes. She’s very fun, very social. She’s one of the homies, he said.
