A former CIA agent claims that Adolf Hitler never killed himself and is out to prove his theory.
A retired CIA agent is investigation claims to prove that Adolf Hitler never killed himself at the end of World War II, and instead, staged the death with a lookalike.

Former agent Bob Baer has found using 700 pages of newly declassified documents that the Nazi leader did not take his own life but escaped, according to The Mirror.
“The narrative the government gives us is a lie. If you look at the FBI files it throws open the investigation,” he reportedly told The Mirror. “What we are doing is re-examining history, history that we thought was settled that Hitler died in the bunker but the deeper we get into it, it's clear to me we don't have any facts for it."
According to The Mirror, one document states: "American Army officials in Germany have not located Hitler's body nor is there any reliable source that Hitler is dead."
Baer believes the leader may have fled to the Canary Islands.
He also believes that the body that was discovered by the Russians may not be Hitler but a double because the body reportedly measured out to be five inches shorter than Hitler’s documented height of five-foot-eight-inches.

Baer’s investigation is part of on the heels of a new History Channel series, Hunting Hitler, which looks at the questions surrounding the former German leader’s death.
The series suggests that Hitler traveled by a U-boat from the Canary Islands to Argentina.
