Rapper 50 Cent took down a social media post that appeared to show him complaining about not winning the lottery after joking that he was only a handful of numbers short  from claiming the jackpot.

The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, posted a photo of a Powerball ticket to Instagram, writing: “Balls. $899,999,9679 away from Jackpot. AINT THIS A B**** I ALMOST WON!!!”

Jackson had three of the winning numbers for the Saturday $949.8 million Powerball jackpot, which earned him a $7 payoff.

“Watch I’m gonna win this S***,” he wrote.

The picture has since been deleted, but the entertainer posted a meme to his page on Monday about going back to work after losing the Powerball, calling the lottery "rigged."

Jackson, 40, filed for bankruptcy in July last year after he was ordered to pay $7 million to Lastonia Leviston for posting a sex tape of her online.

The woman said the video, which Jackson posted to his personal website along with mocking commentary, ruined her life.

Leviston has a child with Rick Ross, Jackson’s rap rival.

Jackson's net worth was estimated to be $155 million by Forbes in May 2015, but the figure is said to need revision.

“This is how I'm gonna look after I win power ball,” he wrote on another photo of a man holding money that was set on fire.

By Monday, the Powerball total had reached a record-breaking total of $1.3 billion.
