Jamie Foxx doesn't consider himself a hero after he met the dad of the man he saved from a burning car.
The father of the man Jamie Foxx rescued from a burning car met with the actor to express his ultimate gratitude for saving his son’s life.

The grateful father told reporters: “He didn't have to do a thing. We all hope we can do something when the time is there, but the question is do we? Do we act or do we fear our own lives and he did not.”
Foxx told Brad Kyle: “God had your son and we're good now, and these tears that he has is tears of joy, it worked out the right way.”
The Ray actor posted about the emotional encounter with Brad on Instagram.
Police say 32-year-old Brett Kyle was speeding and under the influence when his pickup truck lost control, struck a drainage pipe, flipped over several times and landed in a ditch near the Oscar winner’s home in Hidden Valley, California.
Foxx was hailed a hero on Monday after he saved the man, but the humble actor said: “I don't look at it as heroic, I just look at it like you know, I had to do something."
Foxx and a bystander, who happened to be a certified EMT, jumped into action.
“The guy has EMT scissors,” Foxx said. “I grabbed the scissors and cut the seat belt and pulled him out. Five seconds later the car goes up.”
The driver was taken to the hospital and treated for broken bones and a punctured lung.
“It doesn't matter to me who they are or what they do for a living, just the idea someone would do that is so much more than I can fathom,” an emotional Brad said.
