Officials Seek Person Who Threw Dog From Moving Car On Busy Street

New York animal cruelty officials are offering $2,000 reward for a person who threw a dog from a moving car that was hit by an oncoming vehicle.

A $2,000 reward is being offered for information about a poor dog that was thrown from a moving vehicle and then hit by another car as it chased its owner down a busy street.

New York's Suffolk County SPCA says the tan-and-yellow pup was tossed from the passenger window of Jeep Grand Cherokee on Jerusalem Hollow Road in Long Island last week.

The male dog ran around to the driver's side and tried to get back in, but was pushed away by the person behind the wheel, according to NBC.

The pooch suffered only bruises and scrapes and is doing well.
