Police in Denver responded to reports of violence near the National Western Stock Show complex on Saturday afternoon.
One person is dead and seven are reported injured after shootings and a stabbing occurred at a motorcycle expo Saturday afternoon.
Denver Police responded to reports of violence at the Denver Colliseum around 1 p.m. while 10,000 attendees were inside the National Western Complex hall.
The Colorado Motorcycle Expo is being held at the facility this weekend.

During the disturbance, one person was fatally shot, three were wounded by gunfire and one person was stabbed. The others were likely injured during fights that did not involve weapons, CNN reports.
Police Chief Robert White said at a press conference that rival biker gangs were "possibly" behind the violence.
"Whether it was motorcycle gang-related or motorcycle club-related, that is yet to be determined," White said.
However, the hospital where victims were taken was temporarily locked down.

"We wanted to make sure the incident didn't spread from the expo to the hospital," White said.
By 6:30 p.m. local time, the hospital tweeted: "Denver Health is back to normal operations. Lock down on the ED was lifted. Special thanks to our Medics, ED/Trauma staff, and Denver Police"
White said at the Saturday evening press conference that no suspects were in custody.
No police or firefighters were injured.
The expo's Sunday events at the National Western Complex have been canceled.
