Taylor Swift's Grammy Speech Gets Her Some High-Profile Girl Power

Taylor Swift's not-so-subtle shot at Kanye West during her Grammy acceptance speech for “Album of the Year” is inspiring major girl power.

During her speech, Swift told the crowd: ‘There are going to be people along the way who are going to try to undercut your success or take credit for you accomplishments or your fame. But if you just focus on your work and don't let those people side track you, someday when you get where you're going, you will know that it was you and the people who love you that put you there.”

Kanye was embroiled in a new feud with the pop star and called the “Out of the Woods” singer a b****. He also rapped about having sex with her in his new song “Famous.”

Stephen Colbert took the rapper to task on Tuesday’s Late Show.

“Kanye, I have a feeling the odds of you having sex with Taylor Swift are about the same as winning a Grammy you weren't nominated for," Colbert joked.

The “Gold Digger” rapper has been making himself the headline of pop culture since he held a fashion show at Madison Square Garden and released his new album, The Life of Pablo, last week.

He took to Twitter to beg for money from Mark Zuckerberg to help bail him out of his "53 million dollars in personal debt."

Colbert joked about Kanye’s plea, saying: “I can't think of a better way to reach out to the founder of Facebook than the one place he's sure to look: Twitter."

A GoFundMe page has been set up to aid the rapper to get out of debt. It was set up on Monday and has currently raised $396.
