Holm told MMA website Sherdog: “When I heard that she said that, for me it’s one of those things it’s like, ‘How do I respond to that?’” I don’t want to say I’m sorry because I think on a competitive level for me, if somebody was to say they’re sorry after [beating me], it’s like, ‘No, I’m a competitor.’ I’m not a charity case.”

Rousey appeared on Tuesday’s Ellen where she made the stunning suicide admission.

“I was in the medical room, I was down in the corner. I was like, ‘What am I anymore if I’m not this?’ I was literally sitting there and thinking about killing myself. In that exact second I’m like, ‘I’m nothing. What do I do anymore? And no one gives a s*** about me anymore without this,” she admitted.

Rousey, who is slated to fight again this year, recently appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue in body paint. She also hosted Saturday Night Live last month.

The shock loss to Holm was the UFC champ’s first defeat.

Former UFC fighter and current WWE star Brock Lesnar offered Rousey words of encouragement in a new interview with Fox Sports.

He said: “One thing that I learned and she should have learned a long time ago was that you have to learn how to lose before you can actually win. You've got to be able to get back on the horse and this life is very precious and very short. One fight isn't going to make or break her career.”
