Serial Stowaway, 64, is Arrested Again At Airport
Apparently, she did it again.
Marilyn Hartman, the serial stowaway who has been arrested several times for trying to board planes without a ticket, was nabbed again at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, police said.
The 64-year-old homeless woman has a host of mental issues, no family support and needs to be in the care of psychiatric professionals, her public defender told a judge Thursday during a Chicago bond hearing.
Bail was set at $150,000 on charges of trespassing and violating probation. Her next court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday, WLS-TV reported.
She was arrested Wednesday at an airport shuttle center, police said.
She had been released on probation in December to a Chicago nursing home and ordered to stay away from area airports and the city's train station, according to The Associated Press.
Hartman was arrested in 2014 after stowing away on a flight from San Jose to Los Angeles International Airport. In 2015, she was arrested twice in two days at O'Hare and Midway International Airport in Chicago.
