Hugh Jackman Rescues His Children, Other Swimmers From Strong Riptide

'The Wolverine' star turned into a real life superhero.

Actor Hugh Jackman, who is used to playing superheroes on screen, transformed into one in real life.

Jackman leapt to the rescue when his 15-year-old son, Oscar, his 10-year-old daughter, Ava, and other beachgoers got caught in a riptide at Bondi Beach in Australia on Saturday.

He was photographed bringing swimmers to safety.

The Wolverine star’s rep said in a statement: "Hugh and Oscar are completely fine. It looks more dramatic than it was."

The North Bondi Beach Patrol posted a big thank you to Jackman on Instagram.
