Playing 9-Year-Old Girl Completed Grueling 24-Hour Race Designed by U.S. Navy Seals

Nine-year-old Milla Bizzotto recently completed the Battlefrog race - a grueling, 24-hour competition that combines swimming, running and an obstacle course - that is modeled on training  for U.S. Navy Seals.

She ran 36 miles, swam eight kilometers, crawled under barbed wire and climbed a six-foot wall.

Why?

For one reason, she wants to inspire other kids to get off the couch and put down their video games. Two, she has learned, through discipline and hard physical training, that bullies can be silenced when you exude mental and physical well-being.

Her father, Christian, competed with her, and had been working out with her five days a week, for three hours a day, at the gym he owns.

"I am 9 years old. I don't spend all day playing videogames. I have a mission," she wrote in an Instagram post accompanying a photo of her doing a handstand.

"I want to inspire kids to eat healthy and get outside and play. I was bullied at school, kids get bullied all the time. I now longer get bullied now."

Schoolmates used to call her names, and say she wasn't a good player, Milla told the Miami Herald. "I didn't want anyone else to go through what I did. I want to set an exampleand show other kids that they can do, or be, anything they want."

Her 36-year-old dad said he couldn't be prouder of his daughter's dedication.

"She was so amazing the entire race," he said. "She is really so relentless and refuses to quit," he told the paper.

"I want to inspire a generation," said the little girl. "I don't get bullied anymore. I know how to stand up for myself now. And I love what I do. I want to do it forever."
