Bride's Wedding Dress Goes up in Flames

When a bride's wedding gown went up in flames in a bridal shop fire, panic set in. But the generosity of another bridal shop saved the day.  INSIDE EDITION has the story.

Bride-to-be Casey Aulisa searched an entire year to find the perfect gown for her wedding day.

"I have been dreaming about my dress since I was little," said Aulisa.

Then, just before her dream wedding, catastrophy struck. The Illinois bridal boutique where Aulisa had bought her gown went up in flames.

"Smoke shot out of the windows. My jaw just dropped. Like something out of a movie," said Aulisa.

The roaring inferno incinerated the store and hundreds of wedding gowns inside, Aulisa's included. Aulisa had just 24 hours to find a new gown.

With the clock ticking, the 23-year-old and her mom went to the Naperville Bridal Boutique.

"I can't be too picky or choosy. I'm just so grateful," said Aulisa to the Naperville Bridal Boutique.

Aulisa frantically raced through the racks to find the right dress. She found a french-inspired gown had vintage lace, intricate beading and mermaid silhouette lines.

"The dress is georgous. Vintage. Everyting I looked for," said Aulisa.

The boutique's seamstress worked thru the night to get the dress ready. Amazingly, in just 24 hours, Aulisa was walking down the aisle.

The look on the groom's face said it all. His bride looked like a princess. Fire failed to destroy her fairytale wedding.
