Star-Studded Crowd Cheers On Kobe Bryant As He Scores 60 Points in Last Game

The "Mamba" may be out but he left in illustrious fashion.

It was an unbelievable storybook finish for basketball great Kobe Bryant.

He ended his 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers scoring an astonishing 60 points.

In his 1,346th and final NBA game with the Lakers on Wednesday night, Bryant pulled off a fourth-quarter upset against the Utah Jazz and lead his team to victory 101-96.

There was a star-studded crowd cheering Kobe on.

Kanye West, David Beckham, Adam Levine, Paula Abdul, Arsenio Hall, Jay Z and lifelong Lakers fans Jack Nicholson and Snoop Dogg had courtside seats to the farewell game.

Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist and hardcore Lakers supporter, Flea, kicked things off with a rendition of the national anthem on his bass.

The musician was trolled on Twitter for his rendition of the anthem.

The 37-year-old celebrated the epic win with kisses from wife, Vanessa, and their daughters Gianna and Natalia. He also hugged former teammate Shaquille O’Neal.

He addressed the sold-out crowd at the Staples Center after the game and took the mic to say: “You couldn't write something better than this." As he reflected on his storybook career, he ended with “Mamba Out.”

The basketball star is even selling shirts on his website of his signature nickname “Mamba” with the phrase “Mamba Out 4.13.16.”

As the media crowded around him in the locker room one final time, the legend said: “Am I going to miss any of this? "Probably. Maybe. Yeah. I've done a lot of interviews here standing in front of this locker and the one that I'll always remember is the night that I ruptured my Achilles. Yeah, I'll miss standing here and watching you [media] elbow each other [for position] and all that fun stuff."

Excitement was so huge Kobe actually broke social media, with many folks on the West Coast were unable to access Twitter for about 30 minutes during the game.
