The actor says the 'Everybody Loves Raymond' cast threw a party for Roberts after her death.
Ray Romano opened up about the passing of Doris Roberts, the matriarch of his hit sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond.
“She had a great, full life. I am sure she would still be doing tons of stuff. She really lived it up,” he told IE. “She was 90 years old and she put us to shame with the amount of stuff she did. Everytime the season would end, a week later she would be at a castle in France, I am not kidding, this is not a joke.She would be on a cruise ship -- not taking a vacation, but working on the cruise ship.”

IE caught up with the actor at "Keep It Clean" an event that benefits clean water.
"I love that the way she got away with being this loud, jealous, intrusive and overbearing mother and person on the show was because she did it all from a good place. She is the most amazing actress I have ever seen," he said.
He revealed how the cast reunited to remember Roberts.
“We had a little reunion,” he said. “All the writers, Patty Heaton and myself and a couple of others, we talked about her, we drank for her, we ate pizza for her,” he said.

Roberts, a five-time Emmy winner, passed away in Los Angeles on April 17 in her sleep. She died from natural causes.
