Rachel Roy Hits Back After Beyonce Sparks Affair Claims With 'Lemonade' Album

Playing Rachel Roy Hits Back After Beyonce Sparks Affair Claims With 'Lemonade' Album

Beyonce's new album, Lemonade, is making headlines -- but not just for the music.

She appears to discuss allegations that her husband had an on the album.

“You come home at 3:00 a.m. and lie to me. What are you hiding? The past and the future merge to meet us here. What luck. What a curse," she said in between songs on the record.

On the song “Sorry” she sings: “He only want me when I’m not on there / He better call Becky with the good hair."

People on social media are speculating about who "Becky" might be. They are pointing the finger at fashion designer Rachel Roy, who is also the ex-wife of Jay Z’s former business partner Damon Dash.

Following the album’s release and online chatter, Roy posted on Instagram: “Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. live in the light #nodramaqueens."

Her Instagram account has since been locked.

Roy later tweeted: "I respect love, marriages, families and strength. What shouldn't be tolerated by anyone, no matter what, is bullying, of any kind."

Roy is said to be the reason behind that notorious 2014 elevator meltdown when Beyonce’s sister, Solange, went after Jay Z following the Met Fashion Gala.

But some of Beyonce's fans got confused between Rachel Roy and Rachael Ray, targeting the famous TV chef by mistake.

"Oh I loved hot chicken fajitas but I will never make them again after what you did you did to the queen," wrote one fan.

Another said: "Never watchin ur show again Rachel u r a homewrecker!"

But the Rachael Ray Show Instagram page had the last laugh -- posting a lemonade recipe amid the misdirected anger.

Lemonade debuted on HBO Saturday night - and some cynics are wondering if all the talk about Jay Z’s purported infidelity could be a publicity stunt.

The album was initially available exclusively on Tidal, the streaming service Jay Z owns.
