Meghan Trainor Posts New Music Video After Pulling 'Insulting' Photoshopped Version


The unedited video of Meghan Trainor’s hit “Me Too” hit the web after an earlier version was pulled because it had been altered to make her look thinner, she said.

The singer was so furious that a version with a digitally smaller Trainor aired, she went on Snapchat to tell the world that she had the video yanked.

“My waist is not that teeny. I don't know why they didn't like my waist, but I didn't approve that video and it went out for the world. So I’m embarrassed,” she said.

Her fans were immediately suspicious when the video for “Me Too” recently dropped.

One fan tweeted: "The people who edited the video photoshopped @meghan_trainor that's so stupid."

She talked about the alternation with USA Today, saying: “I saw fans posting it and was like, 'Why are fans ruining my waist? Are you kidding?' Then I went to the video and was like, 'Oh my god.' I texted the editors like, 'I never asked you to touch my waist. I want my waist back.' "
