The Race Is On: Trump Calls Poll 'Dishonest' After It Shows Clinton With Double-Digit Lead

Before the primaries, the polls show Hillary Clinton leading the billionaire.

Donald Trump has returned to the U.S. after the grand re-opening of his golf course in Scotland to some bad news.

A new Washington Post/ABC News poll shows Hillary Clinton with a double-digit lead, 51 percent to 39 percent.

Trump quickly took to Twitter to blast the poll.

The @ABC poll sample is heavy on Democrats. Very dishonest - why would they do that? Other polls good!

He had a point, as other polls show a tighter race, but with Clinton still holding a lead.

An NBC / Wall Street Journal poll gives Clinton a slight bump over Trump —  46 percent to 41 percent.

In the poll, which tested polticians and institutions, according to NBC: "The most disliked of all is Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, who is viewed unfavorably by a full 60 percent of the electorate, while only 29 percent offer a positive rating of the GOP standard-bearer (-31 rating)."

Both Trump and Clinton polled lower than the NRA and Planned Parenthood.

According to NBC: "By comparison, about half — 48 percent — of Americans view Planned Parenthood favorably, while 29 percent give the women's health and abortion rights group poor ratings (+19). Forty-two percent of voters see the National Rifle Association in a positive light, while 36 percent disagree (+6)."

The most popular institution polled by NBC/Wall Street Journal was the FBI with 48 percent. 

In the battleground state of Florida, Clinton leads by 44 percent to 41 in the margin of error, according to CBS News.
