Charlie Sheen Speaks Out About Bizarre Car Theft

Actor Charlie Sheen was eager to talk to the press about the bizarre theft of his Mercedes sedan. The vehicle was left in a ditch after being stolen from Sheen's garage. INSIDE EDITION has the story.

Charlie Sheen is speaking out for the first time about the bizarre theft and dump of his Mercedes sedan, which was pushed off a cliff just a mile from his home.

"God, how do I put this? Somebody stole it from my driveway and pushed it off a cliff. That's it in a nutshell," Sheen told reporters.

Sheen was eager to speak about the theft; he pulled over to talk to paparazzi as he left the set of his hit show Two and a Half Men.

"It's just an interesting way to start your day. Luckily nobody was hurt. Myself, the kids, everybody's fine," said Sheen.

Police say his garage door was left open and the keys were inside the Mercedes.

When the vehicle was hauled up the ravine, police combed it for clues.

Making the incident even more bizarre, a Bentley belonging to former Baywatch actress Lisa Vanderpump was found dumped in the same ravine just 200 yards away.

"It keeps life interesting, I suppose!" Sheen said.

Sheen is back in Los Angeles and reunited with his wife Brooke Mueller after appearing in court in Aspen, Colorado on February 8th.

He was charged with one felony and two misdemeanors for allegedly assaulting her and threatening her with a knife during that now-notorious Christmas Day dispute.

Sheen denies threatening or ever hitting his wife and Mueller has asked that the charges be dropped.
