After Melania Trump's RNC Speech, Her Stunning $2G Dress is Already Sold Out

The speech may not have gone as planned, but the dress certainly was a hit.

Melania Trump’s speech during the opening night of the RNC may not have gone as well as she had hoped, but Trump’s third wife is getting high praise for her look.

The 46-year-old former model had a white cotton and silk blended dress with belled sleeves. The Roksanda “Margot” dress was listed at $2,190 on the Net-A-Porter website, and following her speech at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland Monday, and has since sold out.

Many took to Twitter to praise the outfit:

I oppose everything Melania Trump stands for but I will not hear a SYLLABLE against that dress. #RNCinCle

It is said that Melania picked Roksanda's dress because the designer's life was similar to the former model's. Roksanda was born in Serbia, not far from Slovenia where Melania is from. Both women left home at a young age to persue fashion.

Melania Trump’s speech was set to be her big moment in the spotlight as she endorsed her husband for president. However, the discourse has been widely chastised as the prospective first lady was accused of plagiarizing from Michelle Obama’s 2008 DNC speech.

Though the speeches line up nearly word-for-word in places, Trump campaign officials have flat out denied the address was plagiarized in any way.

"There's no cribbing of Michelle Obama's speech," Trump's campaign manager, Paul Manafort, told CNN as the controversy built Tuesday morning. "Certainly, there's no feeling on her part that she did it... What she did was use words that are common words.

Melania was introduced by her husband, who pulled out all the showmanship stops with his dramatic entrance.

Trump is a big fan of WWE and some are comparing his entrance to that of the famous wrestler, The Undertaker – walking out to a starkly lit stage and making the mood in the room feel rather intimidating.

Twitter, of course, had a field day with the spectacle.
