White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs Under Fire

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs is under fire for showing off a grocery list he wrote on his own hand, spoofing Sarah Palin's notes on her hand last week. INSIDE EDITION has the details.

Things get heated as the ladies of The View debate that dig at Sarah Palin made by White House spokesman Robert Gibbs.

Joy Behar said to co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, "Don't give me this crap, Elizabeth, please!"

"He's wasting America's time," said Hasselbeck.

Gibbs showed off a grocery list scrawled on his hand at his regular press briefing.

"I wrote eggs, milk, and bread," said Gibbs.

He was spoofing Sarah Palin's crib notes at the tea party convention last weekend.

The New York Post also weighed in, labeling Gibbs "heavy handed." It accused him of "showboating" and said he was "clearly tickled with himself."

The late night comics milked the whole situation for laughs.

David Letterman spoofed the notes on Sarah Palin's hand saying it listed, "Lenscrafters, Clean Rifle, Look at Russia."

Jay Leno's spoof of Palin's notes were, "Lather, Rinse, Repeat, Left Hand."

Stephen Colbert's note on his hand simply said, "Thumb" with an arrow pointing towards his thumb.

Jon Stewart spoofed it by writing on his hand, "Make Face, Curse."

Michele Obama declined to offer an opinion on Palin when she appeared on Larry King Tuesday night. King asked, "What's your read on the former Governor of Alaska?"

Michelle Obama replied, "I don't have a read. I try not to set opinions about people that I haven't had any substantive interaction with. I think it's wonderful to have strong female voices out there but I don't know her."
