A Louisiana boy and his family were shocked this week when they say discovered a baggie of drugs inside a video game.

The 11-year-old boy in Lake Charles purchased a game from a GameStop location Wednesday. He got it home and inside he found a baggie of what turned out to be meth.

The boy's father returned the drugs to the store, where police were called, the AP reports.

Officials with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office confirmed the bag contained methamphetamine.

A public relations representative with GameStop said used trade-in games are checked for quality before they are shipped to other stores.

However, the rep said the company was unable to track what store the game came from before arriving in the Lake Charles location.
