He couldn't help reprising one of his famous SNL characters, including former View co-host Star Jones.

After the show, Whoopi Goldberg told Inside Edition: “It was thrilling to have him today. He's one of the funniest, there is nobody like him.”

Morgan told the hosts that marrying his longtime love fueled his recovery.

“I was in a wheelchair and that was my motivation to learn to walk again and speak again. I wanted to walk my wife down the aisle.”

He married his longtime girlfriend, Megan Wollover in August 2015.

The View is adding one new co-host – Good Morning America weekend anchor Sara Haines.

Joy Behar, the only original co-host from 1997, says she's delighted.

“Sarah Haines is like a glass of OJ in the morning, like sunshine and vitamins. She's like that,” Behar said of her new cohost.
