Michelle Obama's Media Blitz

Michelle Obama made the rounds of the morning news shows in New York for the first time since becoming First Lady and she was wearing a $34.95 dress! INSIDE EDITION has more.

First Lady Michelle Obama went on a media blitz wearing a dress that cost just $34.95! The White House says the polka dot frock is from bargain retailer H&M. The stylish First Lady accessorized with a wide red belt and yellow pumps.

She flew to New York for her first live interviews on morning TV since becoming First Lady. On the Today show, Matt Lauer asked about the speculation that the President dyes his hair.

"No, he's pretty gray […] it's lighting," she said.

Yesterday, she revealed to reporters that her husband has finally quit smoking and it seems as if she's gotten grief about breaking the news.

"You made some news yesterday in an interview. You revealed that your husband, after decades of smoking, has kicked the habit," said Lauer.

"Well I was asked, in case my husband is watching, I didn't volunteer it, I was asked," she clarified.

The First Lady also spoke about why daughters Malia and Sasha are not allowed on Facebook.

"I'm not a big fan of young kids having Facebook; it's not something they need," she explained.

Across town, on Live! With Regis and Kelly, she said President Obama is actually a very romantic guy.

"Valentine's Day is around the corner […] What would be a good gift for the President to get you?" co-host Kelly Ripa asked her.

"Jewelry!" said the First Lady.

She was in New York to promote Let's Move, her campaign to combat childhood obesity.
