Carlos Rodriguez's mug shot went viral in 2010. Now it's happening again.

A Florida man whose mug shot went viral years ago because he has only half a head is now making headlines once again — this time for much more serious crimes.

Carlos Rodriguez, who will answer to "Halfy," was arrested this week after he allegedly set his mattress on fire at his home in a Miami duplex.

The Miami Police Department said Monday that the 31-year-old deliberately set the fire, which threatened the lives of two people in the duplex.

One of those people was Rodriguez's own mother, Anicia Rodriguez, who owns the duplex, according to WSVN.

Rodriguez was booked on an arson charge and two counts of attempted murder. He was subsequently released to Mercy Hospital on $30,000 bond, according to his online arrest record.

In a YouTube video, Rodriguez explains that he lost a large portion of his brain and skull in a car accident.

"I was barred out on drugs and I was driving and I hit a pole and flew out the front window and landed on my head," he explained. "That's why it's no good. Drinking and driving or drugness and driving, no good kids."
