Social media video shows fast-food workers jumping rope with bread dough.

A startling viral video shows employees at a Florida Jimmy John’s sandwich shop apparently jumping rope with bread dough.

“Oh, that’s nasty,” said Betty White, a resident of Jacksonville, where the video was recorded, according to FirstCoastNews.com.

The video, taken in the restaurant’s kitchen and posted to Snapchat, shows employees pulling and twisting the dough and then using it as a jump rope.

Franchise owners James and Rebecca Williams issued a statement, saying the food had been thrown out and was not served to patrons.

“Our investigation confirmed the dough used in the video was immediately discarded after the incident,” the couple said. “We do not condone this behavior from our employees and appropriate action has been taken to prevent this from ever happening again.”

Health inspectors also visited the sandwich shop, and wrote in a report that the employees seen in the video had been fired, The Associated Press reported.
