Johnny Depp Gets Emotional at People's Choice Awards as He Thanks Fans Following His Rough Year

"I came here for you, the people -- who through whatever good times or bad, you know, have stood by me, trusted me. Thank you," the actor said.

Johnny Depp gets emotional as he thanked fans for their support after a very difficult year that saw his nasty divorce from wife Amber Heard at the People’s Choice Awards Wednesday night.

"I came here for you, the people — who through whatever good times or bad — you know, have stood by me, trusted me. Thank you," the actor said.

The crowd went wild for Depp as he accepted the Movie Icon Award during the ceremony in Los Angeles.

As he left the show, he bumped into DJ Khaled and greeted the hitmaker in his limo.

Jennifer Lopez dazzled in a jeweled Reem Acra gown as she took home the Favorite Crime Drama TV Actress for her role in Shades Of Blue.

Backstage, Lopez told Inside Edition that she planned on going out to dinner after the show. 

Quantico star Priyanka Chopra also won. She's still recovering from the concussion she suffered after a stunt mishap.

“I'm really psyched. Can I do a little wiggle? Sorry, it's the concussion talking. Thank you,” she told the crowd.

She told Inside Edition backstage: "It was just an accident and it could have been avoided. It fell, I hit my head on the road, on the bumper of a car. I had a concussion, it was my first concussion." 

Blake Lively had a message for all of hubby Ryan Reynold's adoring fans: “Thank you to my husband. He is everything to me. You can't have him he's mine!”

Kristen Bell had a little trouble as her teleprompter went out while she was introducing filmmaker Tyler Perry, who got a special honor for his humanitarian work.

The show, hosted by Joel McHale, was broadcasted on CBS and was a landmark night for Ellen DeGeneres, who broke a record for the most decorated People’s Choice nominee.

In her decades of entertainment, DeGeneres took home her 20th award Wednesday night, the most of anyone in the ceremony’s history.
