“I’m so proud,” the “Bad Romance” singer’s mom, Cynthia Germanotta, told Inside Edition following the performance.

She added that the show was “very incredible.”

The New Jersey-native’s proud father, Joe, echoed the sentiment, telling Inside Edition: “I thought it was fabulous.”

Gaga herself told Inside Edition that she was “happy to make her parents proud” following her rousing halftime show. She even gave a shout-out to her folks halfway through her performance, saying, "Hi mom and dad" as she sang.

The “Perfect Illusion” singer started off her performance perched on the roof of Houston’s NRG Stadium as she sang “God Bless America” and “This Land Is Your Land.”

As 300 drones flew behind her, the synchronized machines were used to choreograph the stars and stripes as she sang.

The "Million Reasons" singer then lept from the top of the stadium and repelled down to her massive stage where she continued her set.

Gaga earned praise for keeping politics out of the halftime show - opting for a theme of national unity that every American can relate too as she delivered a medley of hits.

"That was the best!" John exclaimed. "I’ve never seen anything like it!”
