Quick-Thinking Cop Uses Patrol Car to Nudge Flaming Truck Away From Jack in the Box

"Due to his courage and quick-thinking, he was able to prevent a burning vehicle from causing major damage," the police department wrote on Facebook.

Thanks to the quick thinking of this Texas police officer, no one was injured after a truck caught fire outside the drive-thru window of a Jack in the Box restaurant.

In dashcam footage provided by the Glenn Heights Police Department, Officer Chris Womack can be seen driving up behind a flaming Ford truck that was stopped in the drive-thru lane of the chain restaurant last weekend.

He then used his own patrol car to push the truck out of the way, to prevent the fire from spreading to the restaurant.

Authorities also reported that no one was injured in the incident.
