Mom Shares Heartwarming Photo of Her Two Sets of Twins Snuggling Up Against Each Other

"They are in love with their baby sisters," said mom of Nico, Siena, Gia and Gemma.

It's far from double trouble for this Massachusetts mom, who snapped an adorable photo of her two pairs of twins snuggling happily together.

Mom and photographer Juliet Cannici of West on Jade Photography captured her newborn twin girls, Gia and Gemma, between her two oldest twins, 3-year-old Nico and Siena.

“They are in love with their baby sisters,” she told InsideEdition.com.

It took several bribes of candy to try to get the older twins to sit still with the babies for a more formal photo shoot and when she finally gave up, they instinctively cuddled the newborns, and she reached for her camera.

“[Nico’s and Siena’s] smiles were genuine, and Gia and Gemma were absolute angels,” Cannici said. “I think being born at 36 weeks makes them exceptionally mellow, sleeping throughout the day, even more-so than with Nico and Siena, who were born at 38 weeks.”

Cannici explained when her wife of 10 years, Nikki, found out she was pregnant a second time with twins, they were shocked. But Nico and Siena only felt excitement at the prospect of getting two new siblings.

“They spent months snuggled with mama’s pregnant belly, talking and singing to the unborn babies,” she said. “Now that they are here, they are incredibly gentle with them, and love holding and feeding them. It’s amazing to see. There is no jealousy. We are taken aback by how seamless a transition it has been for all of us.”
