Two Secret Service agents are facing an internal probe after allegedly taking selfies with the president’s sleeping grandson, Donald Trump Ill.
The 8-year-old boy was being driven from his family's estate in Westchester to Manhattan when he fell asleep in the back seat. That's when the agents reportedly snapped the selfies.
It is unclear as to when the alleged incident happened.
According to published reports, the youngster woke up, saw he was being photographed and reportedly “freaked out."
When he got home he told his mother, Vanessa. Top brass at the Secret Service was notified and are now investigating.
The agency released a statement to Mother Jones, which broke the story: "The U.S. Secret Service is aware of a matter involving two of our agents and one of our protectees. Our Office of Professional Responsibility will always thoroughly review a matter to determine the facts and to ensure proper, long-standing protocols and procedures are followed. The Secret Service would caution individuals to not jump to conclusions that may grossly mischaracterize the matter."
