Jamie Friedland gave the tearful testimony at the trial of the alleged getaway driver, Basim Henry. He is one of four men accused in the slaying of Dustin Friedland, an attorney from Hoboken, New Jersey.

Henry has pled not guilty.

In the first time she has ever spoken publicly about the incident, she took the stand inside a New Jersey courtroom and recalled: “I was screaming, ‘Stay with me! Stay with me!'"

The couple was Christmas shopping on December 13, 2013, when they returned to their Range Rover in the mall parking lot, where they were ambushed. The horrifying incident was caught on surveillance cameras.

"I saw the struggle, I saw the taller man. I saw him put the gun to Dustin's head," she said as she then mimicked the sound of gun shots going off.

She said the gunman then opened the car door, pointed the gun at her and told her to get out.

The suspects fled in the couple’s vehicle and the widow testified she tended to her dying husband.

"His eyes were following me and focused on me, he was blinking, he could not talk," she recalled.

She called 911 but waited for more than a half hour for an ambulance to arrive.

She has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the mall, claiming there was not enough security present.

Another issue is the emergency was the entrance of the parking garage, which was too low for an ambulance to get inside.
