87-Year-Old Retiree Surprised by 'Gorgeous' George Clooney Says He Can Call Anytime

"He greeted me, he called me, he put his arm around me, and I thought, 'Oh, this is all right," Pat Adams, 87, said of the Hollywood actor.

It seems like the 87-year-old retiree who was surprised by George Clooney at her nursing home on her birthday has a bit of a celebrity crush.

“He’s a handsome man, isn’t he?” said Pat Adams, a resident at Sunrise Senior Living in Sonning in Berkshire, England.

Adams has been asking whether the Hollywood star, who lives nearby, would come visit ever since she moved into the assisted living home two years ago, Nandhra-Gourlay Sandeep, an employee at the senior’s home, told InsideEdition.com.

She submitted her plea to the home’s “Wish Upon a Star” program, and workers at the home sent a letter to Clooney’s public relations representative ahead of Adams' 87th birthday.

“He’s got a house here,” Adams joked.

Sure enough, a few months later, Clooney showed up unexpectedly at the home with a bouquet of flowers and a birthday card addressed to Adams.

“He greeted me, he called me, he put his arm around me, and I thought, ‘Oh, this is all right,'” she told InsideEdition.com. “I couldn’t believe I just shook hands with George Clooney. He’s lovely.”

Photos of the encounter, as shared by staff on Twitter and Facebook, quickly gained traction.

“Never in a million years did we think that George would actually turn up,” said Sandeep, who was disappointed to not be at the home that day. “I was so annoyed when I saw the Facebook tags coming up saying that George had just been to see Pat, but I was so pleased for her.”

Andit’s obvious Clooney has made a lasting impression on his biggest fan.

“He can call anytime, I don’t mind,” said Adams, who said her favorite movie with the actor is Ocean’s Eleven. “He’s gorgeous.”
