Cops in Lakeland, Fla., were not amused.
A breakfast-eating prankster jammed up traffic when he sat down to dine on pancakes in a Florida intersection, Florida cops said last week.
Authorities responded to a city intersection Tuesday after a 911 caller said a man was in a crosswalk sitting in a chair with a small TV table in front of him eating what appeared to be pancakes, according to the Lakeland Police Department.

Cops arrived to find the intersection empty of any breakfast diners. However, a video of the incident was later posted on Facebook and shared in a message to Lakeland police.
The man in the video, 21-year-old Kiaron Thomas, and the friend who filmed it, Travis Riley, told InsideEdition.com that they often make prank videos and came up with the idea that day.
"He was already cooking breakfast early that morning... We thought it would be funny if we took it into the street," Riley said.
Thomas said he took the table and chair, along with pancakes, eggs, bacon and syrup, into the road near where he lives. He said he was barely in the road a minute and never felt the situation was unsafe. Still, it was enough to anger motorists, the men said.
"People were shouting," Riley said.
Later that day, when commenters began to tag Thomas in the video, cops followed up on the incident with a visit to his home Thursday. "They were really mad," Thomas said.
He was interviewed and said he was just doing it as a prank, according to Lakeland police.
Cops, however, were not laughing.

"Love a good joke but not at the expense of others. Sitting in an intersection and stopping traffic is a ridiculous prank and inconsiderate of others," police wrote on Facebook after some commenters came to Thomas' defense.
Thomas was charged with placing an obstruction in the roadway and disrupting the free flow of traffic and issued a summons for next month.
Thomas and Riley are already focusing on their next prank but won't be doing anything like this again, they said.
"I can't really say I have regrets," Thomas told InsideEdition.com. "But if I knew it was going to get me in trouble, I wouldn't have done it."
"We want to spread love," Riley added. "We didn't mean no harm."
