J.Lo, A-Rod Step Out for the First Time Together at Met Fashion Gala As Stars Shine on Red Carpet

It was a galaxy of stars who showed off some daring fashion trends.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez made their official red carpet debut as a couple at Monday night's Met Fashion Gala.

The “Jenny From the Block” singer was demure in a baby blue Valentino dress to attend what some say is the event of the year.

She posted a series of snaps of her gown and the former New York Yankees slugger together.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Gisele Bunchen were co-chairs of the event. She wore a body-hugging silver gown that was cut out on the sides with a revealing back.

Rihanna stopped the show wearing a dramatic dress by designer Rei Kawakubo of Comme Des Garcons, who is the focus of the costume institute exhibit.

Kim Kardashian was shockingly dressed conservatively for the occasion, but sister Kendall Jenner had eyeballs popping in a see-through dress by the lingerie label La Perla, which left little to the imagination.

The same went for her friend, Bella Hadid, who donned what amounted to a body stocking.

Kylie Jenner wore an embroidered, but sheer Versace gown.

Bella Hadid’s ex, singer The Weeknd, stepped out with his new squeeze, Selena Gomez.

Serena Williams showed off her baby bump in a lovely green dress from Versace. She was escorted by her fiancé, Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian.

She showed off a video of herself dancing in the halls in the gown before she left for the gala.

Zendeya went for the big gown and big hair effect, which is getting rave reviews.

Actress Priyanka Chopra wore a long trench coat with what looked like nothing underneath.

Jaden Smith cut off his dreadlocks for the event and came holding them in his hands as an accessory while displaying his new gold grills.

Other stars dominating the red carpet were Katy Perry in a bizarre red gown, rap group Migos, Lupita Nyong’o, Halle Berry, Rami Malek, Madonna, and Diddy, who at one point decided to sprawl out on the stairs while his lady love was photographed.
