Millie Bobby Brown Breaks Down in Tears as She Wins MTV Award for 'Stranger Things'

The enthusiastic cast of "Stranger Things" later stole the show after their big win for "Show of the Year."

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown broke down in tears as she gave an impassioned acceptance speech at the MTV Movie & TV Awards Sunday night.

Like Emma Watson, Brown won a gender-neutral acting award for her role as Eleven in the Netflix hit.

As she thanked her family, friends, manager, and co-stars, the 13-year-old actress couldn’t hold it together

Brown's voice cracked and tears streamed down her face as she held the giant bucket of golden popcorn.

She also thanked the show’s creators, Matt and Ross Duffer because they “created a badass female, iconic character that I have gotten the honor to play.”

As she won the award, her male co-stars were seen cheering her on, clearly excited for her recognition.

And they weren't done yet, as the enthusiastic cast of Stranger Things later stole the show after winning “Show of the Year.”

The second season of Stranger Things hits Netflix on Halloween.
