The memo calls the directive "the new way of doing business."
A memo allegedly sent by TV personality Steve Harvey to his employees demanding they "do not approach me" has been leaked.
Harvey allegedly sent the staff of his daytime talk show this lengthy memo via email with a long list of don'ts.
Among them was, “Do not open my dressing room door. If you open my door, expect to be removed."
“Do not approach me while I’m in the makeup chair unless I ask to speak with you directly," another directive read.
“Do not wait in any hallway to speak to me" and, “If you're reading this, yes, I mean you,” were others.
He concluded the memo with, “It is for the good of my personal life and enjoyment.”
The internal memo was reportedly sent last year but recently leaked to a Chicago media blog run by Robert Feder.
Harvey is moving his daytime talk show from Chicago to Los Angeles and much of his staff is being fired. There's speculation the memo was leaked by a disgruntled employee.
Harvey, 60, is a very busy man. In addition to his talk show, he's the host of Family Feud and NBC's kid talent show, Little Big Shots.
If the memo is any indication, he appears to treasure his alone time.

“I have been taken advantage of by my lenient policy in the past,” the memo allegedly said. “This ends now. No more.”
Harvey has not commented on the memo.
