A 23-year-old "The Price is Right" contestant who lost his mind after setting a new record on Thursday night's show says he puts his success down to his job at Target.
Ryan Belz couldn't contain his excitement as he racked up $31,500 in the show's popular game, Plinko. Leading up to the record win, each of Ryan's reactions was better than the last, and the crowd loved him.
Inside Edition's Steven Fabian told Belz he thought he was going to have a heart attack.
"I thought I was going to, too," he joked. "They had to keep bringing me over water and everything. I literally thought I was dying!"
Belz also revealed why he was so good at guessing the prices of items on the show.
"I think it definitely helps with my job at Target," he said. "Knowing all the prices and checking everyone out."
Belz, a Penn State graduate, said he loves the show so much, he scheduled his classes around when it aired on TV.
Before Belz, the previous Plinko record was $30,500.
