The puppies will be trained in NPA's K-9 Anti Bomb and Drug unit based in Taipei and when they're older, they will help sniff out bombs and drugs.

Their mother is one of 22 adult dogs inside the police force’s K-9 unit.

The puppies — Lucky Star, Schumann, Feida, Brother, AJ and Full Moon — were born last month and are already getting into their role as police dogs by posing on top of cop cars, in K-9 outfits, and with officers.

"We hope that in the future the puppies can be like their mother Yellow, that they can pass through training successfully and enter the police force," the NPA said in a Facebook post.
