Brad Gomez, 28, was arrested and charged with assault Thursday after he allegedly hurled avocados and bananas at a New York deli worker.

Surveillance cameras captured the chaotic scene involving two attackers that unfolded inside Stadium Gourmet Deli, located near Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.

The employee, identified as 21-year-old Amir Alzabibi, was left with a broken jaw after the incident last month, and continues to be in a lot of pain.

“I’m on so much pain medication... my eye is swollen shut. I have double vision. I had an orbital floor fracture. It's really bad. It is so much swelling you cannot even see my eye," Alzabibi said in an interview with the New York Daily News.

Cops said Alzabibi was also left with a laceration and fractures to the face.

Co-workers said that was only Alzabibi's second day of work, and he was being trained to work at the deli section when he was attacked.

The storm of produce began following an early morning dispute over a food order, according to the New York Police Department.
