A little boy is missing after his mother was seriously injured in Thursday's van attack in Barcelona.
Julian Alessandro Cadman, 7, became separated from his mom after a van plowed into pedestrians on a Barcelona promenade, killing at least 14 people and injuring some 100 others.
In the resulting chaos, Julian's family is desperate to be reunited with their little boy.
"We have found Jom (my daughter-in-law) and she is serious but stable condition in hospital," Julian's grandfather, Tony Cadman, wrote on Facebook.
He continued: "Julian is 7 years old and was out with Jom when they were separated, due to the recent terrorist activity. Please share if you have family or friends in Barcelona."
The post had been shared around 35,000 times, just 8 hours after it appeared.
Julian's mom was among the victims from at least 24 countries around the globe in an attack that would become the first of two in Spain within hours of each other.
Police later fatally shot five people wearing fake bomb belts who staged a car attack in the seaside resort town of Cambrils, where the attackers plowed into a group of tourists and locals with their blue Audi 3.

One woman was killed in the second attack, which authorities have said may have been connected to the first, as well as an explosion earlier this week elsewhere in Catalonia.
While the connection remains unclear, what is clear is that Thursday was deadliest attack in Spain since 2004, when al-Qaeda-inspired bombers killed 192 people in assaults on Madrid's commuter trains.
