The Palin Family Relocates to Arizona

Sarah Palin and her family may have a new place to call home. It's been reported that the Palins are buying a new home in Arizona, fueling speculation that the former Alaska governor may make a run for President. INSIDE EDITION has the latest.

It's official: the Palins have a new zip code. Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin and her husband, Todd, just purchased a sprawling four acre Scottsdale estate for $1.7 million.

Palin was spotted outside the Arizona mansion in a ponytail and red baseball cap. She was flanked by Todd, who was chatting away on the phone.

"Arizona is the perfect place for Sarah Palin to be right now. She can base a presidential campaign and make those trips to Iowa and New Hampshire that would be really hard from Alaska," Daily Beast reporter Shushannah Walshe tells INSIDE EDITION.

Inside, the Palin home boasts five spacious bedrooms. The living room is adorned in marble and features a fireplace. The mansion also hosts a massive kitchen, with two islands and granite countertops. Other amenities include a home theater, swimming pool, and a newly-installed playground.

The New York Times speculates that Palin will use the Arizona compound as a base for run at the presidency in 2012.

Even if the White House is her dream home, Sarah Palin will most certainly be living comfortably in the interim.
