Performance of a Lifetime! Broadway Stars Perform Epic Dance Routine at Wedding

Their friends choreographed the dance for them.

This Broadway couple sure knows how to put on a show.

Amanda Kloots and Nick Cordero met during a pre-Broadway workshop for Bullets Over Broadway, which they both starred in, and when they got engaged, it was a no-brainer that they’d put on a performance their guests would remember forever.

“We were on vacation this summer doing a lot of wedding planning and I suggested doing a fun dance since we are both Broadway performers,” Kloots told InsideEdition.com. “We would have a lot of friends there that love dancing!”

The professional pair learned the elaborate number during a two-hour rehearsal before their New York wedding, and even practiced the day of because they didn't want to be nervous.

The song they chose for the dance, “It Had to Be You,” was the song Cordero sang for Woody Allen, who wrote Bullets Over Broadway, when he auditioned for the role.

“When we were picking our first dance it only seemed like the perfect option,” Kloots said.

The couple’s friends, Clyde and Robyn Alves, with whom they have worked with on Broadway shows before, choreographed the dance for their September wedding.

“They are just incredible and created the perfect dance,” Kloots said. "There was a costume change because my wedding dress from Spina Bride was so fragile and delicate that I did not want to risk anything happening to the dress."

Kloots said guests were shocked when the pair broke into the performance.

“There were lots of cheers and screams, which was so fun while we were dancing,” Kloots said.

Other Broadway stars that were there on their special day packed the dance floor after their big finish.
