John Edwards Indicted By Federal Grand Jury

The news of John Edwards's indictment commanded headlines this morning. The indictment papers use his legal name, Johnny Reid Edwards. 'Johnny' is also the pet name used by Rielle Hunter, the mother of his love child.

Following his estranged wife Elizabeth's death from cancer last year, Edwards moved back into the family estate in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, to care for their young children.

Edwards was recently spotted at a kids' softball game. Former aide Andrew Young, who wrote a tell-all book about the Rielle Hunter scandal, was also there, watching his own kid play.

Hunter lives two and a half hours away in Charlotte with their daughter, Quinn, now three years old. Hunter is a regular homemaker; she shops for groceries at the local mall and has been spotted going to yoga classes.

Hunter and her daughter live in a three-bedroom house costing $1,750 a month in rent. It's the same home where she posed for racy GQ photos and sat down with Oprah Winfrey.

Hunter is also shopping a book that includes details of her relationship with Edwards. But just this week, the National Enquirer, which broke the story of the affair in 2007, reported that she recently broke up with him.

Edwards has entered a plea of not guilty to the charges.
