White House Budget Director's Secret Love Child

The revelation that White House budget director Peter Orszag had a secret love child just six weeks before announcing his engagement to ABC correspondent Bianna Golodryga is rocking Washington. INSIDE EDITION reports.

The news that White House budget director Peter Orszag has fathered a secret love child is rocking Washington.

Orszag, the youngest member of the Obama cabinet, had just announced his engagement to ABC correspondent Bianna Golodryga.

Golodryga gushed about her new fiancé on Good Morning America just last week.

What wasn't known at the time was that six weeks earlier, Orszag had a love child with shipping heiress Claire Milonas. The little girl's name is Tatiana Zoe Milonas. On January 6, Orszag and his ex-girlfriend released a joint statement: "We were in a committed relationship until the spring of 2009. In November, Claire gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Although we are no longer together, we are both thrilled she is happy and healthy."

"When he first came into office he honestly seemed like the earnest, geeky, nerdy kind of guy and here it turns he's had a more interesting love life in 2009 than a lot of Hollywood celebrities," says The Washington Post's Amy Argetsinger.

Milonas is a wealthy venture capitalist who lives on New York City's posh Park Avenue. Last January, she was Orszag's date at the Inaugural ball where the Obamas famously danced to a serenade by Beyonce.

In May 2009, Orszag met ABC's Bianna Golodryga at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Sources close to Orszag claim he broke up with his pregnant girlfriend before he met Golodryga.

But sources close to Milonas say she was stunned when he suddenly stopped calling her. He was not present when Tatiana was born and has only visited the baby once, at Milonas's Park Avenue home. Her baby registry included a self-help book titled When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult Times.

The geeky and brilliant budget guru was one of Washington's most eligible bachelors.

"There has been a certain Peter Orszag fan club mentality in Washington. There are a lot of women who will tell you the nerdy thing is pretty appealing to them," Argetsinger says.

"He made nerdy sexy," said White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel according to The New York Times.

Orszag already has two children from a previous marriage.
