Relations between Casey Anthony and her parents remain strained; when Cindy Anthony tried to pay her a visit in prison, Casey declined. INSIDE EDITION reports.
Casey Anthony is refusing to see her mother, who dramatic testimony helped set her free. Visitation logs at the Orange County jail show Cindy Anthony requested a jailhouse visit at 7 p.m. Friday, but was turned down by Casey herself.
The place where Caylee's remains were found has become a shrine to the little girl, which made it all the more remarkable that a bolt of lightning struck a tree directly above that spot at 3 p.m. on the day Casey was sentenced.
A sheriff's deputy who was in the area when the lightning struck told INSIDE EDITION's Paul Boyd he's never seen anything like it.
Meanwhile, Casey Anthony's release date is being pushed back from Wednesday July 13th to Sunday, the 17th.
Authorities say exact details of her release are being kept secret.
A spokesman for the Orange County Corrections Department said: "Due to the high profile nature of this case and intense, emotional interest by the public, appropriate measures will be taken to release the individual into the community in such a manner so as to preserve the safety of the individual and the public."
The denunciation of the jurors who acquitted Casey continues. Now three jurors who returned a death sentence on Scott Peterson for murdering his wife Lacey and their unborn child are coming forward. They spoke with INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret.
"It took this jury less than 11 hours to reach their verdict. What does that tell you?" Moret asked them.
Juror Mike Belmessieri said, "It tells me they weren't as thorough in their job as they should have been. When we finished with Peterson guilty was guilty. Period. Because we tore that case apart. We deliberated on all evidence. That's what you do!"
"Circumstantial is a tough case to prove but if you look at it, you've got to go piece-by-piece and I don't think you can do that in 11 hours," added John Guinasso.
"You would think that a guilty verdict would come up. All the lies and all the tangled stories. Just everything was one lie after another, one cover up after another," said Richelle Nice.
They and the others jurors have written a book about the Peterson case, We the Jury: Deciding the Scott Peterson Case.
Meanwhile, defense attorney Jose Baez, has been dropped by a Hollywood talent agency just 24 hours after signing him for a book and TV movie deal.
And headline news anchor Nancy Grace is showing no signs of letting up with her attacks on Baez.
"Defense attorney Jose Baez has hired a talent agent! That implies there is a talent and what would the talent be?" she commented.
Casey Anthony's provocative appearance at her sentencing, including makeup and wearing her waist-length hair down is also drawing more outrage.
New York Post columnist Andrea Peyser called her a "heartless tart."
"Before our eyes she once again became the self-absorbed girl who competed in hot body contests," Peyser wrote.
