INSIDE EDITION Viewers React to Hockey Twins Prize Money
It's the hockey shot the whole country is talking about. 11-year-old Nate Smith made a near-impossible shot into a tiny hole from 30 yards away, winning $50,000. Now that prize may be taken away because it was his twin brother, Nick, who was supposed to take the shot.
INSIDE EDITION viewers weighed in on our online poll which asked, "Do you think he should be able to keep the prize?"
An overwhelming 86% said "Yes." He should keep the money.
Response has come in on INSIDE EDITION's Facebook page as well.
Laura wrote: "Show the kids the money!"
Bri adds: "Give it to the kid."
But Deane has another view, saying: "Nope. Cheating is cheating."
