New Book Claims Sarah Palin Used Cocaine

Cocaine, marijuana, and one-night stands are just some of the shocking claims author Joe McGinniss makes in his new book about Sarah Palin. INSIDE EDITION has the details.

It's the new bombshell book about Sarah Palin that is certain to have the whole nation buzzing.

You'll recall that writer Joe McGinniss moved right next door to Sarah Palin two years ago. She was so upset she built a large fence for privacy.

McGinniss's book The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin, isn't due out until next week, but washingtonpost.com and The National Enquirer today are both reporting on the explosive allegations.

The book will reportedly say that Palin had a one-night stand with former Miami Heat basketball star Glen Rice. Rice told McGinniss the two met and had a one-night stand when she was a sports reporter in Alaska in 1987 and he was playing for the University of Michigan.

But Rice's ex-wife Cristy, a cast member of The Real Housewives of Miami, took to Twitter today to dismiss the story.

"Sarah Palin or Jane Doe - who cares? He had a life in college as we all did! Not my problem then or now!" tweeted Cristy.

It's also being reported that the book will say Palin cheated on her husband Todd for six months with his former snowmobile business partner Brad Hanson. Hanson could not be reached for comment. But he has denied the affair ever happened.

The other allegation made in the book is that both Sarah and Todd Palin once used cocaine. Published reports say the book will claim they snorted cocaine with friends while snowboarding before she became governor of Alaska.

And there are many more bombshell allegations in the book. Next week INSIDE EDITION will speak with the author as the book hits shelves.
