$88 Million Apartment Bought for College Student

The most expensive apartment in New York was sold for $88 million to a wealthy Russian businessman who bought it for his 22-year-old daughter to use part-time while she’s attending college. INSIDE EDITION has the details.

Sold! The most expensive New York apartment ever sold for a whopping $88 million. And you'll never believe who bought it. It was a 22-year-old rich kid.

The four-bedroom apartment—yes, there are only four bedrooms—is on the top floor of a building overlooking Central Park. There are ten rooms in total. The great room has marble floors and spectaular views of the park. The ceilings are twenty feet high. The apartment also features a wood paneled library. The master bedroom is oval-shaped and has a wraparound terrace.

So who's the new owner? She's a 22-year-old heiress named Ekaterina Rybolovleva. Her billionaire Russian dad bought it for her from Sanford Weill, the former chairman of banking giant Citigroup.

The blonde beauty attends an unidentified college here in the USA and plans on using her New York pad only part-time.
