JetBlue Pilot Has a Meltdown During Flight

It's another meltdown from an airline crew member. This time, a JetBlue flight was diverted to Texas after the pilot reportedly became incoherent and was ultimately locked out of the cockpit by the co-pilot. INSIDE EDITION has the breaking news.

It's happened again. Another disruption on board a plane, and this time it was the captain who had a meltdown.

In a video posted on YouTube, a flight attendant can be heard asking passengers to put their camera phones away.

"We don't need pictures of this. Please," said the flight attendant.

JetBlue flight 191, from New York to Las Vegas, made an unscheduled landing in Amarillo, Texas, after the captain reportedly started acting erratically.

A JetBlue statement said he suffered: "a medical situation."

The captain of the plane reportedly became incoherent halfway through the flight. His co-pilot became so concerned he actually asked the captain to leave the cockpit, and then locked the captain out.

That's when the co-pilot made the unscheduled landing in Texas.

Earlier this month, an American Airlines flight attendant, who suffered from bipolar disorder, lost it on a plane.

As for the latest incident involving the JetBlue captain, the airline said he was "taken to a local medical facility. Customers have safely deplaned."
