INSIDE EDITION caught up with the man who came from Hollywood fame, but is now causing an eyesore for some of his neighbors.

Don't be fooled by Kevin McCrary's shabby beard and grimy fingernails, and the fact that his van is jammed to the roof and beyond with junk. McCrary is actually from high-society.

Believe it or not, both of his parents have stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

McCrary's mother was a beautiful singer, model and actress named Jinx Falkenburg. His father was TV talk show pioneer Tex McCrary.

The McCrary family even appeared on the cover of Newsweek magazine in 1947. The cute little boy on the cover is now 64—and this is his life.

McCrary has no job and lives off the income from his parents' estate.

"I've lived for the most part, an alternative lifestyle," said McCrary.

His days are spent collecting odds and ends and filling what little space is left in his van. It's a constant presence on the posh Upper East Side of Manhattan—one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the USA.

"Are you crazy?" asked INSIDE EDITION's Les Trent.

"Crazy like a fox," replied McCrary.

He lives in a $1,400-a-month apartment. It's also packed to the rafters with junk. He was even featured in an episode of the A & E show Hoarders.

They actually carted away loads of his stuff at the end of that show.

But six months later, McCrary's still got plenty of nothing.
